Xin Huang and Taeyoung Kim win Dissertation Year Program (DYP) Fellowships from UCR
Two PhD students at VSCLab, which are directed by Prof. Sheldon Tan, won Dissertation Year Program (DYP) Fellowships from UCR. Ph.D. student Xin Huang receives this award from the graduate program in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Ph.D. student Taeyoung Kim receives this award from the graduate program in Computer Science and Engineering. The prestigious awards are for PhD students with excellent academic performances and high-quality research works in their Ph.D. studies. Taeyoung’s research work will focus on the VLSI reliability optimization for emerging computing platforms and Xin’s research will focus on the physics-based reliability modeling and analysis. This Dissertation Year Program (DYP) Award will support the two PhD students who expect to complete their degree program their final year.
