Ph.D. student, Sheriff Sadiqbatcha, has received the Richard Newton Young Student Fellow Award

Ph.D. student, Sheriff Sadiqbatcha, has received the Richard Newton Young Student Fellow Award from 55th Design Automation Conference (DAC), which is a prestigious award for junior Ph.D. students who studied in the electronic design automation (EDA) and embedded system design areas. A PhD student, Sheriff Sadiqbatcha will get supports from the award for their travel to attend upcoming 55th DAC in June.

This award is named to honor the memory of Dr. A. Richard Newton, a towering figure in EDA, DAC and education. In the past year, 2017, DAC sponsored 70 students over the world.
